I remember that I was very impressed when I saw it for the first time... Pictures and scenography were pampered in the smallest details. These days, new movies coming to the cinema, do not have 'something' hidden in this film. I especially love in Becoming Jane the soundtrack, it is one of the greatest movie soundtracks ever. So if you have not yet seen the revelation that the Julian Jarrold served to us, turn on, look, listen and admire. The entrance song still gives me cold goosebumps. I loved this film from the first sight.

Becoming Jane is a biographical portrait of a pre-fame Jane Austen and her romance with a young Irishman, a charming but penniless apprentice lawyer who gives her the knowledge of the heart she needs for her future career as a novelist.
