The new cinematography style invented by Yang Lu is exactly what it is supposed to be - a new path that can be followed by the creators of original entertainment films. Brotherhood Of Blades is a new quality in the Action movies and everyone should watch it. The tension of the characters draws the audience in from the start. Rich dialogues, which are the essence of this film, excite, especially in the context of these days boring productions. I remember my first time with this movie, ending was a big surprise for me. In the late Ming Dynasty, Shen Lian and two other royal guards follow their mission of killing Wei, a powerful castrated man. On the way back after completing his mission, Shen Lian is trapped and threatened in danger.
