If a tv show can manipulate me to stay on the whole without bat of an eye, that's fucking impressive. There are so many iconic scenes and dialogues throughout the tv show that have become legendary in our culture. Everytime I start to watch this tv show again, I enjoy music, it's great without doubt. Great actors and great story. However, I think that well-chosen actors and an interesting script are not pushed to the background by music, because a good tv series consists of many elements.
