I remember that I was very impressed when I saw it for the first time... Pictures and scenography were pampered in the smallest details. These days, new movies coming to the cinema, do not have 'something' hidden in this film. I especially love in The Lady the soundtrack, it is one of the greatest movie soundtracks ever. So if you have not yet seen the revelation that the Luc Besson served to us, turn on, look, listen and admire. The entrance song still gives me cold goosebumps. I loved this film from the first sight.

The movie tells the story of Aung San Suu Kyi, the daughter of a martyred Burmese general, who returns to her homeland and becomes the core of Burma's democracy movement, and her relationship with her husband, writer Michael Aris.
