This is not a new quality in the genre, but Russell T. Davies almost never goes below a certain level, which is clearly confirmed by this tv series. Everyone pretty much knows that it is one of the greatest tv series ever made. The story is really solid, the pacing is great, and all of the actors give great performances. The sum of detail and small things of the tv show that you can long time later is really amazing.
