I remember that I was very impressed when I saw it for the first time... Pictures and scenography were pampered in the smallest details. These days, new movies coming to the cinema, do not have 'something' hidden in this film. I especially love in Trees of Peace the soundtrack, it is one of the greatest movie soundtracks ever. So if you have not yet seen the revelation that the Alanna Brown served to us, turn on, look, listen and admire. The entrance song still gives me cold goosebumps. I loved this film from the first sight.

In April of 1994, four women from different backgrounds and beliefs are trapped and hiding during the Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Their fight for survival against all odds unites the women in an unbreakable sisterhood.
